One life, declaration inspired by U2’s One ring in silver

These sterling silver rings were custom made as a continuation of a previous personalized order.
They embody a design approach focused on relief engraving as a medium for emotion and symbolism, expressing the deep feelings of a committed couple.

The first ring, featured on our website under the name One Love, was created for the groom. It is a piece with a bold and intentional presence, featuring a raised border framing the engraved text, which has been oxidized to enhance contrast and reinforce its masculine character. The inscription, in English, is taken from the lyrics of the iconic song One by the band U2: "One love, One life". This powerful message is punctuated by the infinity symbol, adding a timeless dimension to this declaration of love.

Pleased with this first creation, the couple wished to have a second, complementary ring made for the bride. This new ring follows the same concept of raised text but with a softer and more feminine treatment. The border was removed to lighten the design, and the edges were gently rounded for a smoother feel. The phrase — "Un amour, une vie", the French translation of the original quote — remains unchanged in meaning, but this time it is interspersed with a stylized floral motif, symbolizing delicacy and blossoming life.

Each ring was also personalized on the inside with a discreet yet deeply meaningful engraving: the names of the couple’s three children, forever sealed within this pair of rings as a natural extension of their shared love.
