Symbol, ivy ring in sterling silver and iolite

The “Symbol” ring was born from a custom order, envisioned as a testimony of love and fidelity. It was created for a man who wished to gift his wife a jewel filled with meaning, a deeply personal talisman. The chosen stone is an iolite, a gem with shifting reflections that oscillate between deep blue and mysterious violet, evoking both the starry night sky and the infinite ocean. Known as the stone of travelers and sailors, it once guided Viking navigators thanks to its optical properties, making it a symbol of direction and inner clarity.

Ivy, on the other hand, has long been a universal sign of unwavering attachment, fidelity, and perseverance. A climbing plant, it entwines everything it touches and never lets go, much like faithful love that withstands the trials of time. The silver band is therefore engraved with a delicate ivy pattern, its small leaves and berries forming a promise of eternal bond between two beings.

At the center sits a round cabochon of iolite, bezel-set for protection, like a heart safeguarded within the case of a lasting relationship. A private engraving, a precious date, seals this ring with a personal dimension, making it unique and charged with memory.
