Poseidon, raging sea bracelet in silver, leather, and chrysocolla

The "Poseidon" bracelet is built around an oval chrysocolla set on a base of solid sterling silver. The intricate hues of the stone evoke an ancient nautical map, where brownish islands emerge in the midst of a shifting ocean, blending shades of light blue, deep blue, green, and white. This interplay of colors gives the impression of a sea in turmoil, stirred by winds and currents.

The deliberately simple and slightly rustic setting enhances the raw character of the stone, as if it had been plucked directly from an ancient shoreline, battered by the waves. Flecks of white evoke sea foam, deep greens suggest floating seaweed, and the earthy browns call to mind reefs breaking through the surface. Everything about this composition whispers of the ocean's depth and power.

We namved this bracelet "Poseidon" in tribute to the Greek god of the seas, master of both calm waters and towering tempests. The chrysocolla, with its vibrant and agitated palette, captures this duality: the mysterious stillness of the deep and the sea's unpredictable fury. This piece also echoes ancient tales, such as that of Ulysses, whose journey home to Ithaca was thwarted by Poseidon's wrath, transforming the ocean into a divine labyrinth of storms and trials.

 

Metal: plata de ley (925).

Stone color: light blue, deep blue, brown, white, green.

The bracelet is made of suede, a very soft and supple type of leather, offering exceptional comfort when worn. The leather band is 0.12 in (0.3 cm) wide and about 1 mm thick. Its fine structure makes it easy to wrap around the wrist.

Leather color: sand

Bracelet length: 23.62 in (60 cm), with an additional 1.97 in (5 cm) silver chain that allows you to adjust the clasp to your preferred length. It is designed to fit both slender and broader wrists, thanks to the adjustable chain links.

Finish: matte and oxidized for a vintage, timeworn effect.
