Moss poem, botanical ring in sterling silver and prehnite

“Moss Poem” is a cocktail ring that carries within it the hidden sparkle of the forest understory. Its oval prehnite cabochon, streaked with botanical inclusions, seems to have trapped tiny tufts of moss forever, as if a fragment of forest had been frozen inside the stone.

The prehnite, in a tender and luminous green, evokes the rebirth of nature in spring, the freshness of new rain, and the softness of a moss carpet still damp with dew. The inclusions create the impression of a miniature ecosystem, a secret garden where life quietly unfolds.

The stone is set on a first bezel, shaped to fit but slightly larger, like a clearing opening around it. On either side, two small silver spheres rest like untouched pebbles, awaiting the moss to cover them.

This bezel rests on a second, larger and irregular one, crafted to resemble a fragment of forest floor covered in moss. At the top and bottom, half-spheres of silver emerge like rocks rising from a vegetative carpet. Small radiating stamps engrave the trace of tiny grass tufts, like young vegetation at the heart of the ring.

The band, fully engraved with repeating floral motifs, completes this miniature landscape. It becomes the vine, the vegetal frieze encircling the finger, reminding that this pieceis a botanical symbol, celebrating fertility, resilience, and the silent poetry of nature.
