Blue pine, Atlantic coast necklace in silver and blue agate

The "Blue Pine" necklace is crafted around a teardrop-shaped blue agate, whose shades create a mineral and aquatic landscape: deep blues, oceanic greens, and luminous turquoise streaked with black or illuminated by crystalline transparency.

Its inspiration comes from walks in the pine forests along the French Atlantic coast, where the salty sea air mingles with the resinous scent of the trees. The piece evokes sun-warmed sand, the iodized wind sweeping through the needles, and that singular pine whose bluish hues seem as if it has absorbed the entire ocean.

The cabochon, set point downward, recalls the silhouette of a pine branch bending under the force of the wind yet yielding with resilience. The silver setting emphasizes this movement: an irregular plate embraces the stone, extending widely on one side like a gust of wind frozen in metal. For the pine is the tree of shores and storms, deeply rooted, able to bend without breaking.

On the back, a delicate openwork in the shape of a conifer reveals the interior patterns of the agate, like a hidden forest, invisible at first glance but revealed by the light.

The symbolism is twofold: blue agate, a stone of calm and protection, evokes the sea, fluidity, and serenity. The pine represents quiet strength, longevity, and resistance to the winds. Together, they form a jewel of resilience and harmony, both marine and sylvan, earthly and celestial.
