Wooden wedding, 5th wedding anniversary ring in sterling silver

The “Wooden Anniversary” ring is a custom creation based on our original “wood” model, featuring a detailed engraving that evokes the grain and natural texture of tree bark. This piece was specially commissioned to celebrate a fifth wedding anniversary – traditionally known as the wood anniversary – a symbolic milestone representing strength, growth, and enduring commitment.

At the client’s request, we added a discreet engraving on the inside of the band: two first names and a date, a private and meaningful reminder of a unique bond.

Wood, as a living material, symbolizes the quiet strength of time. It begins as a bud, grows slowly, weathers the seasons, bends without breaking. It bears the rings of its years deep within – a silent memory of all it has endured. In the same way, lasting love takes root, matures, and deepens with time.

The surface of the ring mirrors the bark of a tree. Its carved lines have been darkened with oxidation to enhance contrast and bring out the fine detail. The inside of the ring is also partially oxidized, with a small section left bright – an aesthetic choice that suggests that even in shadow, light remains.

This ring is perfect for nature lovers, forest walkers, and those who cherish the tactile warmth of wood. It’s a meaningful piece for anyone wishing to celebrate a sincere, grounded, and lasting love.
