Liberty, eagle and feather earrings in silver and turquoise

“Liberty” is a pair of asymmetrical, unconventional earrings, featuring an eagle on one side and a feather on the other.

The first depicts an eagle with outstretched wings, soaring in full flight. On its back rests a small turquoise cabochon, evoking the celestial blue of the sky. Turquoise, a sacred stone for Native American peoples, symbolizes protection and harmony between heaven and earth. The eagle’s body is textured with scattered tiny dots, like stars etched into its plumage.

The second shows the silhouette of a long feather, also adorned with these delicate punctuations. It appears to have detached from the eagle, floating gently, carried by the wind, just as it will sway at your ears. In many traditions, the feather signifies freedom of spirit and acts as a messenger between sky and earth. It also evokes writing, inspiration, and the voice of the inner self.

These earrings celebrate liberty in its many forms: the eagle, a solar creature, symbol of strength, clairvoyance, and elevation, ascending toward infinite heights; and the feather, light and airy, drifting with the breath of the wind and the breath of thought. Together, they embody the harmony between power and lightness, between will and surrender, between sky and earth.
