Breath of the earth, mother-earth ring in silver and bumblebee jasper

The Breath of the Earth is a custom-made creation, born from a client’s desire to unite two elements close to their heart: a bumblebee jasper cabochon they had personally selected, and the engraved pattern of our Song of the Forest ring band.
From this union emerged a ring like a mineral poem dedicated to the Earth — a tribute to her breath, that invisible force that sustains and nourishes us.
We live to the rhythm of her silent heartbeat. If she stops breathing, we are no more. She is the breath of life, a fertile matrix, and we — mere passengers of her generosity — too often forget to treat her with the reverence she deserves.

Bumblebee jasper is a fascinating stone, formed from a fusion of volcanic ash, sulfur, arsenic, manganese, and other mineral sediments. Technically not a true jasper, it is in fact a rare and potent volcanic conglomerate, born from the Earth's boiling depths.
This stone embodies both destruction and fertility: it rises from the fiery entrails of the planet, yet heralds renewal — like scorched lands that, in time, become among the most fertile on Earth.

The oval cabochon set in this ring displays winding layers of vivid yellow, fiery orange, deep black, soft grey, and pale white. The pattern resembles the trace of ancient sap or some primordial nutrient-rich liquid, seeping into the soil to regenerate life after the chaos. These natural, almost pictorial bands give the stone the appearance of a shifting, ever-changing landscape.

The stone is cradled in a slightly oversized silver bezel, its edge finely engraved with striations that evoke timeworn grooves, tree bark, or the living texture of weathered surfaces. The setting rests on a ring band adorned with an intricate network of branches and twigs — a motif that speaks of verdant growth, the abundance of nature, and the primal forest that always finds a way to return, even after the fire.

This ring embodies the sacred link between fire and sap, ash and root, breath and silence. It reminds us that all living things carry the memory of the ground that gave them birth — and the promise of new beginnings.
