Kirakee, Moorish oriental architecture earrings in silver and chrysoprase

The Kirakee earrings draw inspiration from the Orient and the refined architecture of Moorish palaces. Entirely hand-cut, they take the shape of a window or an ornate opening in the traditional Moorish style, with each of the four sides crowned by a horseshoe arch — also known as a Persian or Moorish ogee arch. This elegant profile, with its harmonious interplay of concave and convex lines, recalls the arcades and open galleries adorning the palaces of Andalusia, such as the Alhambra in Granada or the Alcázar of Seville.

At the center rests a luminous light-green chrysoprase, evoking the inner gardens where water murmurs in shaded pools, bringing well-being, coolness, and serenity — a true oasis of greenery within these palaces worthy of the One Thousand and One Nights.

The engraved decorations are arranged along two axes: vertically, a stylized plant motif depicting a climbing vine with delicate leaves, symbolizing vitality and upward growth; horizontally, a radiant half-sun, a promise of light and warmth.

Metal: plata de ley (925).
