Juuri, boreal forest pendant in silver and ocean jasper

The Juuri pendant is a piece of jewelry designed around a stunning ocean jasper from Madagascar, shaped into a triangular shield. This stone, with its natural and organic patterns, evokes the raw beauty of northern landscapes.

To preserve the elegance of this unique gem, its setting has been crafted in a minimalist and refined style. It rests on a subtly worked silver plate, with a delicate thin border that gently envelops the stone without altering its presence.

The cabochon features a dominant green, ranging in different shades, with specks of white, cream, brown, and reddish hues. Its circular patterns, forming orbs characteristic of ocean jasper, mirror the chaotic and vibrant structure of a landscape seen from above.

This interplay of colors and shapes evokes a boreal forest, also known as taiga or northern forest, a dense vegetation expanse where conifers and hardy leafy species blend to withstand harsh climates. The green and rounded tones of the stone suggest the pines and fir trees deeply rooted in these vast areas, while the lighter shades could represent snow-covered clearings or the white trunks of birch trees, iconic in Finland.
