Geisha earrings are a design that is both sleek and refined, inspired by the triangular shape of this mother-of-pearl, cut directly from the shell. This delicate creamy white mother-of-pearl has a subtle sheen that is enough on its own to create a piece of jewelry that is both sophisticated and timeless.

To complement this natural stone without overpowering it, we have designed an elegant and minimalist silver setting: a delicate ring of silver wire that wraps around the top of the triangle, adding a contemporary and airy touch to the whole piece.

With its shape and luminous hue, this piece evokes the finesse of a Japanese fan, reminiscent of those gracefully handled by geishas during their dances and ceremonies. More than just an accessory, the fan was for them a tool of coded language and a symbol of refinement.

We sought to capture this elegance and subtlety in these earrings. Their whiteness echoes the iconic makeup of geishas, whose faces were covered in a white rice-based powder, symbolizing purity and perfection. Both accomplished artists and guardians of ancestral knowledge, geishas embody an ideal of beauty and timeless grace—qualities we have sought to infuse into this piece.
