Storm sky, celestial mirror ring in sterling silver and labradorite

The Storm Sky ring is built around a labradorite of exceptional quality, displaying a far richer and more varied range of reflections than any we’ve worked with before. With every shift in light, it reveals a striking palette of shifting hues: midnight blue, sky blue, golden yellow, burnt orange, vivid gold, fiery red, and deep black. Its dark base acts like a stormy sky — a veil of heavy clouds constantly reshaped by the wind, ever changing, ever reborn.

Gazing into this stone is like watching the sky in motion — streaked with lightning, brushed by twilight, pierced by stars. Each flash of color seems born from a clash of the elements. In this piece, labradorite becomes a celestial mirror, a mysterious surface where fragments of storm, traces of the aurora borealis, or glimmers of a starlit night seem to flicker and vanish.

To enhance the beauty of this long, oval-shaped stone, we designed a setting reminiscent of an ancient, magical mirror — the kind said to reveal other realms or forgotten times. The labradorite is mounted on a subtly expanded silver base, forming the mirror’s frame. Its irregular edges have been deliberately filed to give the appearance of something weathered by time, like a relic torn from the pages of a myth.

At the top and bottom of the stone, a series of silver spheres emphasizes the vertical form of the piece, adding a sober yet powerful accent — like a ceremonial or royal artifact.

The stone rests on a band finely engraved with spirals and arabesques inspired by wrought-iron patterns from the Art Nouveau movement. These swirling motifs seem to dance in the wind, echoing the invisible currents that sweep across stormy skies — pushing clouds, scattering shadows, and awakening flashes of light. This ornamentation is a symbolic homage to the breath of the wind, the power of motion, and the untamed nature of air and energy.

Wearing this ring is like carrying a fragment of the storm at your fingertips — a glimmer of celestial magic, a mirror of lightning suspended in silver.
