Bhora, mountain dawn pendant in silver and mookaite jasper

The Bhora pendant is inspired by a large oval mookaite jasper, whose natural patterns depict an enchanting mountain landscape at dawn. This unique stone captures a magical moment as the rising sun paints the sky with vibrant hues, transitioning from deep red to delicate pink, creating an atmosphere that is both fantastical and soothing.

In the lower two-thirds of the stone, a mountain emerges in shades of deep pink, its peaks adorned with what appears to be a shimmering layer of snow. A golden line traverses the mountain, resembling a tree branch illuminated by the golden light of the morning sun. This luminous detail adds a mystical quality to the scene, almost as if the mountain radiates a vibrant, living energy.

Above the mountain, the sky unfolds in a soft gradient of pink and pale violet, dotted with subtle clouds. This serene and ethereal sky invites contemplation and reverie, transporting the viewer into a dreamlike state.

The stone is set on a sterling silver backing with irregular, rounded edges, resembling an oval window into this dreamlike landscape. This design gives the pendant a misty, almost otherworldly allure, as if this mountain tableau were suspended between dream and reality. The irregular contour of the silver plate evokes a mysterious cloud, further enhancing the sense of wonder.

The back of the pendant features a delicate openwork branch design, subtly echoing the golden motif within the mookaite jasper. This detail enhances the harmony between the stone and the metal, while providing a refined and symbolic finish.

The name Bhora, meaning "dawn" in Bengali, perfectly reflects the spirit of this pendant. It embodies the idea of renewal, the promise of light and hope that comes with every sunrise.
