The "Ammonite eoderoceras" silver necklace depicts a marine creature, once master of the oceans. Ammonite shells, similar to those of snails but much larger and more complex, reveal a fascinating internal architecture: an orderly sequence of chambers separated by curved partitions called septa, often forming sinuous patterns called sutures. Eoderoceras is a species of ammonite dating back to the Early Jurassic period, approximately 190 million years ago. It is distinguished by its regular spiral shape and pronounced ribs, and belonged to a highly diverse group of ammonites. This pendant is a faithful reproduction, made by casting, of an Eoderoceras specimen discovered on a beach in Dorset, England—a site world-renowned for its paleontological richness, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Jurassic Coast."
