The silhouette of these earrings resembles a blooming orchid, gracefully suspended from the tip of a long stem, swaying gently with every movement. This resemblance gave rise to their name: Ophrys, a botanical genus in the Orchidaceae family, known for its flowers with elegant and often animal-like shapes—frequently compared to insects or feminine forms.

To add a touch of color and vibrancy, a synthetic ruby in vivid fuchsia-red tones is set at the top of the composition, like a beating heart at the center of the blossom.
